I was just runnig through some videos from DNNCreative.com on the store core module, which I am currently setting up for a client and in the video it was pointed out that an email confirmation that is sent to the user describes the customer location as in "Afghanistan"

Does anyone know if that problem has been resolved?

Hi Kirk,

I recall validating that this was, indeed, a bug with the existing store release.  I see that this mega-issue-blob has been marked as withdrawn; my recollection is that the issues contained therein were already corrected in the next module version.  I'll let the Store team chime in here, but I believe the bug is still outstanding, but will be corrected upon next release.  Opportunely, I hear that the team is hard at work on releasing this next version.

Hi,

This has been corrected. You can try the last beta 02.01.09 if you want.

Hmm....yeah, I'm going to run a beta version of something in a production environment.  I need an actual working solution.  I'm actually rather shocked that they would release the store module with such a massive and obvious bug in it.  Makes me wonder how many other huge bugs are lurking in the other other modules of the platform.

Hi,

The current beta is the future version of the Store module and seem stable because some users already use it in production and do not complain. You could test it, no? On the other hand, if you need a product with strong support you can buy a comercial store module like Catalook or AspDotNetStoreFront.
