Hi,

I installed DNN with a custom template my designer created instead of using the default DotNetNuke template. Installation went fine and I can open the site and login. But I do not see the host or admin menus, they are just not contained in this design!!! Of course I'm logged in accordingly as host or admin.

Is there a way to run the host menus although they do not appear on the screen? By the URL?

Regards, Walter

Hi Walter,

no, there is no option. Please make sure, your designed did use the same DotNetNuke versions and included the admin and host version in his menu.

Hi Sebastian,

unfortunately the design did not include the host and admin menu. How can I insert them now, after the installation? Or do I have to start a new installation from the start?

Regards, Walter

I fear, the only option you have is beginning from the scratch - or adding another portal alias, removing current one and add a new portal with the current alias.
