Mark,

I also have a DNN portal at webhost4life and I was very disapointed with the speed - sometimes my page was opening for 1 minute - even with pinging service.

I tried almost everything to spped it up but I never got results I expected - finally I moved everything to my own server (with T1 internet connection 1.5Mb download / 1.5 upload) and now speed is acceptable even without pinging service....
