Hi Guys, when installing DNN 3.2.2 i received the error above. Everything went through, but DNN did not create a default Portal. So I tried to create one manually by placing a "Portals.resources" file under /Install/Portal. But whenn adding the Portal I still get this error. My Web Hosting Provider ensured me, that my user has write access to the wwwroot directory of my website. What could be the issue here?

this error happens when your user does not have the "read attribute" (note: this is not "read" permissions) set at the drive root - this is needed to allow the drive tree to be navigated so that directories can be created

Thanks for the fast Reply! How do I set the "Read Attribute"?

right click on the drive, go to properties, and then the security tab. Press the advanced button, then select the user your website is operating under, and press edit on the 'permissions' tab. Ensure 'read attributes' is checked.
