Hello,

I am using DNN 4.9 on the register page the title repeats twice

Preffered User Information. I removed the text from the localresources but then it does not say it even once. How do I fix it so it will say it only once?

Another question is how to remove the Help Icon from the registration page?

Thank you,

Tareq

Am I the only one who have seen this problem?

Tareq,

Nope, you're not alone. I was frustrated by the same issue, and after loads of poking around, I was able to get rid of the duplication. You'll need to access the manageusers.ascx file, which can be found under admin>Users. I commented out lines 50-56 (the third line to the ninth line below):

<asp:panel id="pnlUser" runat="server">
 <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" summary="User Design Table" border="0">
  <!--<tr id="trTitle" runat="server">
   <td colspan="3" valign="bottom">
    <asp:label id="lblTitle" cssclass="Head" runat="server"></asp:label>
    <asp:image id="imgLockedOut" imageurl="~/images/icon_securityroles_16px.gif" runat="server" visible="False" />
    <asp:image id="imgOnline" imageurl="~/images/userOnline.gif" runat="server" visible="False" />
   </td>
  </tr>-->
  <tr id="trHelp" runat="server" visible="false"><td colspan="3" valign="bottom"><asp:label id="lblUserHelp" cssclass="Normal" runat="server"></asp:label></td></tr>
  <tr><td colspan="3" height="10"></td></tr>
  <tr id="UserRow" runat="server">
   <td valign="top"><dnn:user id="ctlUser" runat="Server" /></td>
   <td width="10" rowspan="5"></td>
   <td valign="top"><dnn:membership id="ctlMembership" runat="Server" /></td>
  </tr>
  <tr><td height="10"></td></tr>
 </table>
</asp:panel>

This did the trick for me, leaving me with only the "Preferred User Information" in the title of the module. I'm running 4.8.4, but I don't imagine it's much different, if at all.

Hope that helps you. This is my first occasion to be able to offer assistance, rather than always asking for it!

Cheers,

Ken

I ran into this a while ago and I think I changed a language string (sorry, can't remember which one). You can see it on my PokerDIY sign up page.
