Hi!

I have a problem regarding DotNetNuke, Internet Explorer and Iframes. It seems that when I use iframes on a page, it does not display anything until all content in all iframes is finished downloaded, then the whole page is displayed at once (and this can take up to more than 20 seconds!). This happens only in Internet Explorer. In FireFox the different parts of the page is displayed dynamically when it is downloaded, and gives a much better user experience.

Does anyone have a tip how to avoid this?

Thanks!
Eivind

well.. the obvious answers: don't use iframes. It really depends what you are showing in the iframes. You might consider using rss or screenscraping instead

Thank you Erik,

Well, the challenge is that I have to use iframes. They contain 3rd party ads, and I can not see another solution for this. Take a look here to se an example: http://www.h-a.no/
Thanks!
