Hi Kalias,

once you've downloaded the source pack, unpack it and find the resource compressed folder. Unpack it and open the .sln file with Visual Studio 2003. Now fix the missing references and start applying your changes. Remember to update the correct output folder for compilation e.g. the bin directory under your dnn install.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Dario,

I downloaded source pack & done all settings, but when i open solution file for Blog source pack it displays following message

The solution appears to be under source control, but its binding information cannot be found. It is possible that the MSSCCPRJ.SCC file or another item that holds the source control settings for the solution, has been deleted. Because it is not possible to recover this missing information automatically, the projects whose bindings are missing will be treated as not under source control.

Please help me to resolve this.

Thanks & Regards Kailas

Hi Kalias,

the source control is used by the team members to cooperate on an up-to date version of the application. You have no access to this tool unless you are part of the team, but you have no need of it if you just want to develop your own changes and compile your module. To understand more how source control works, I suggest you to read this article on WikiPedia about Revision Control.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Dario,

*How does a user back-date a blog post, if he so desires?

e.g. today(11-Nov-2008) i want to Add Entry on 1-sept-2008 without showing Calender in Archive at end user side

Thanks for giving response to my queries

Thanks & Regards Kailas
