Hello

when I get to www.mywebsite.com I get a default message saying that "the future home of www.mywebsite.com" I use EasyCGI as provider how can I make my website public? The DNN is already installed at EasyCGI. Does anyone know? Seems so complicated to get the site up and running.

regards

Alex

Check with EasyCGI support to see what they offer you as they should be your first line of contact.

Not saying you haven't.  Keep giving replies like above, you'll be very lucky to get people to help/resond to you.  Since I am a nice guy and many people on these forums have helped me out I will provide, hopefully, more help...

Just figured they would provide some type of support/forum to get it installed.  I use Godaddy.com and the install takes just over a day and a half to complete by them.  Plus I had to make some changes to my DNS entries to get it set up.  So, as I stated, if you have hosting with EasyCGI, then I would check with them.  do you have it installed in the root of your hosting directory?  From what I read in the below links they don't support that.  There are a few things you can do.  One is to provide a Response.Redirect() .aspx page on the root of your hosting to go to root\DNNinstall.  And the other I think DNN has taken into consideration by adding this to your web.config file:

add key="HostHeader" value=""

Check this or this out also.  Good luck

Did you check the root for the default.htm file from cgi? - delete that.
