Just ask EasyCGI.  If they provide DNN hosting then they will activate it for you.  Or you could download a copy of the starter package and MS VWD Express.  Install a local copy.  Get it configured and skinned and then make a .BAK of the database and then ask the EasySupport team to resore it to an sql database for you.

And dont forget to upload the DNN files to the root of your hosting space using FTP

What was their response?  I agree though, this sounds like the EasyCGI default HTML page they put on every site.  You need to configure your site to use Default.aspx as the default document.  Deleting the HTML file will work as well.
