I'm hoping to find a way for User Profile fields to be included only for certain roles in some way.  eg. If it's used for students and teachers (both roles), and some profile fields should only be available to teachers as they are irrelevant to students.

Is there a capability for this, or an add-on module for this?

Also, what module(s) are recommended for setting up and enabling other user profiles to be viewed?  I've not noticed this functionality within DNN core.

Thanks

David

sorry, this is not part of the default framework. check out 3rd party solutions, e.g. from UCanUse.

Thanks Sebastian, very fast reply!

I'm looking at UCanUse... but it's quite a turnoff when a site is so dated and I recall looking at it a good year ago and it hasn't chnaged since (eg. 'working on updating modules to work in DNN4.1)

I may get in touch with them to find out the situation, or keep looking for another solution.

Cheers
