Hi guys,

how can 'disable' a specific language pack installed on portal?

I have two language pack, but i don't want to use the 'default english pack' and i want to hide correspondig 'US' Flag at the top of the skin.

I know that it's possible to remove 'Language' SkinObject from the skin, but i want to use the same method (disable a language set) used for 4.9.0 installation

Thanks for help

these settings have been carefully hidden in DNN5:

  • enter Extensions in Admin menu
  • choose "language settings" command at the bottom.

Hi Sebastian,

first of all, very compliments for new 'form & List' modules!

Are you sure?
In Admin > Extensions > Language Settings i've found only:

- Enable Browser Language Detection?
- Enable Language Parameter in URLs?

But this two settings don't change the 'show status' of a flag in top of the skin.
In DNN 4.9.0, in language settings, are possibile to DISABLE/ENABLE a specific language set: where you disable a specific language, the corresponding flag is hidden...

I've search in all of admin/host settings page, but it seems that this setting has been removed

Have you other info?
Thank you

Hello,

I'm having the same problem. In DNN 4.x there was the option in admin > Languages to enable/disable languages for that specific portal.

I can't the corresponding option in DNN 5?

Where can we find that?

Thnx a lot!

Greetz, Marcel

Appears there are some issues with language configuration, please see here:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=8741&PROJID=2

Note the current status of the Gemini issue is "In Progress" which means the functionality is still under development.

Thanks...
