Hi,

I have set up "myportal.snoten.com" to redirect to www.domain.com/DNNPortal. I have a main portal and a... I guess its a child portal. For the child portal I set up *.snoten.com as the alias. But when I try to access it I get the below error. I have set up the alias for the main portal as both www.domain.com/DNNPortal AND www.domain.com/MainPortalName (which is a virtual alias set up in the IIS of the webhotellhost).

What am i doing wrong! Can I somehow access my child portal from host menues of my main portal? With a GUID or something? Or can I somehow view wich one of the aliases set up that is being used currently? Thanks for any help!

I'm experiencing the same error message. My installation is in a sub-directory. The only config changes I've made are to accomodate Sql Express.

I've got no web.config in my root directory, my web listens on port 80. Nothing really special here, other than this damn message.

What did you do to resolve it?

I think I didn't... For now I'm just using virtual directories set as www.domain.se/portal1 and www.domain.se/portal2 pointing to www.domain.se/DNNPortal with those aliases set for the 2 different portals... If you cant access page at all I guess you could make changes of the aliases directly in the database...
