I've got things all set, but when I go to the site, it doesn't automatically log me in.  When I navigate to http://portal01/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx it logs me in like I should be logged in.

I took the anonymous access off the windowssignin.aspx file.

Not sure what I am supposed to do from here.  I had to wipe the machine I had it on, that was working perfectly.  When I reinstalled, I can't get it to work.

Any ideas?

Is <add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory" /> uncommented in your web.config (in the <httpModules> section)? If it is then try leaving the site alone for about an hour and then hit the site.

Sorry to hijack the post, but I'm having the same problem. When someone navigates to Http://server/dotnetnuke it doesn't auto log them in, but when they go to http://server/dotnetnuke/desktopmodules/authenicationservices/activedirectory/windowslogin.aspx it works fine.

The <add name="Authentication" type........./> is uncommented. The IP addresses are added to the autologin section. The site has been added to the intranet zone. I'm using IE7 if that matters. Anything else I can try?

In a mixed-mode configuration, is this line supposed to be commented out or not?  I get the true auto-login when I uncomment it, but then outside users get a Windows login prompt (just like previous versions).
