Do DNN modules protect against SQL Injection and Cross-site scripting attacks?  If so, how/where?

Out of the box, dotnetnuke has a good level of security. The core and all core modules are audited for xss/sql injection (though as all core database access is via stored procedures, sql injection would be very rare anyway) and other issues. Modules that require functionality that might be of risk e.g. accepting user input, have to follow secure guidelines to ensure there is no issue (see secure module development doc @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Documentation/DownloadableFiles/tabid/478/Default.aspx )

In addition there is some automatic protection for xss (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/ModuleReports/tabid/970/EntryId/256/Reducing-the-effectiveness-of-cross-site-scripting-attacks.aspx)
