Hi,

I am wanting to have an Events module in the main portal and then Sub Calendars in a number of Child Portals, I would like for an event in the Child Portal Events module show up in the Events module in the main portal.

Is this possible or do sub calendars have to be in the same portal?

Thanks!

Hi Bruce,

The module currently only supports this functionality within the same portal at this time.

Cheers

Thanks Roger for the quick reply. Is that functionality planned for a future release?

Version 4.1.0 has a very enhanced RSSFeed possibility. In addition to the standard feed, you can add parameters to the URL of the RSSFeed:

  • DaysBefore - Number of days before today
  • DaysAfter - Number of days after today
  • CategoryName - Name of category
  • CategoryID - ID of category
  • LocationName - Name of location
  • LocationID - ID of location
  • Importance - Priority Number - 1,2,3
  • Priority - Priority name - Low, Medium or Normal, High - In English or local language
  • OwnerName - DisplayName of Owner
  • OwnerID - ID of Owner
  • MaxNumber - Number of events

In combination with an feed module and some templating it would be possible to have a very granular selection of Event data with a templated display. The RSSfeed can be displayed within the portal or on other sites.

Hi I am wondering if anyone was or would be able to come up with a template to aggregate RSS feeds from multiple calendars into a simple calendar view. I wish I was proficient enough to do it, but am stuck begging at the moment. :) I am willing to pay for it....
