Thanks Roger for the quick reply. Is that functionality planned for a future release?

Just wanted to add my voice to this. The ability to include sub-calendar events from different portals would be hugely beneficial to us. We'd be willing to commit some development resources if that option is available.

As long as you are satisfied with a list view (and not a monthly calendar view), it could be done by aggregating the RSSfeed output from the various Event modules. You can use the standard DNN News Feed (RSS) module for this.

If your realy want a month view, I do not think this can be done easily. It might be possible with a clever .xsl transformation, but I a not a specialist on this point.

We'll look into using the XML data, thanks for the pointer. However, it doesn't seem to me like a big architecture change to expose other portals in the sub calendar mechanism?

Well. PortalId is used in data retrieval on various places, also as part of the security. Category and location settings are on a portal basis, so there is more then just the obvious. It might be that your site has portals that belong to each other, others sites have portals that do not have any relationship to each other.

The RSSfeed export is a more safe way to go (for now)...

The problem is not being able to choose Categories.
I am in a few different car clubs.  One is at http://www.skylinedrivecorvettes.org/Events/tabid/175/ModuleID/1313/mctl/EventList/Default.aspx which contains public events as well as private club-only events.
I would like to integrate all the clubs' Public events only on http://corvettenation.org/Events/tabid/515/Default.aspx but have not been successful.
Right now http://corvettenation.org/Events/tabid/515/Default.aspx displays its own Events Calendar ar the top of the page, with a NewsFeed module beneath, and again I am not able to filter out the club-member-only events.
Assistance would be appreciated - with a deposit to your paypal account.

I have tested the "build a table from scratch" module, however then one person would be able to edit another person's entries.
