I have a Windows acct at Godaddy and use its Hosting Connection to install DNN. The installation went fine but when I access the website, I got an error that you can see by going to http://snipurl.com/5qwtu  . Godaddy support says DNN cannot be installed in subdomain which doesn't make sense.

Please help.

Check if you have the virtual directory configured on Godaddy Hosting Control Center in IIS Settings, with anonymous access and as application root.

I have some websites configured as sub domains with no problem. What Godaddy normally says is that is not possible to install it on web root...

I am having the same problem, and I do have anonymous access and as application root checked. any other ideas?
