I installed DNN4.9 on godaddy shared hosting. The installation seemed to go well with no errors. I can login as admin and access all the settings normally, however when I login as host, I cannot access host settings, site settings, or user accounts. The error is this:

An error has occurred.

A friend of mine had a similar problem and he had to cancel his current hosting account and to create a new one for the error to go away. I do not have a problem doing the same thing if it is necessary in order to solve the problem. I would just like to know why this is happening to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong.

Thanks,

jangeador

check with your hosting provider to make sure all rights are set up correctly

I have other sites running with the same hosting provider and the same settings. They do not do this. I created yet another completely different hosting account and I received the same error.

Still hosted on Godaddy, I tried with a different account on a different server and I get the same results. The method reporting the error is one of the .net framework methods and not DNN code. Please review this error and let me know if you have an idea.
