Hi

I am testing the localisation feature of DotNetNuke 4.9.  We have a new client that requires sites to be setup in French and English.

I have installed both English (United States) and English (United Kingdom) to test out the localisation feature.

I have added the language drop down selector to my skin and am able to select either of the two options:

http://localhost/v1/Home/tabid/36/language/en-GB/Default.aspx

and

http://localhost/v1/Home/tabid/36/language/en-US/Default.aspx

However I am not sure how I administer each language version of the site?

I've tried using the dropdown selector in the admin pages but no matter which one I change both versions display the same text.

I would be very grateful for any help / advice you can give me about setting up localisation.

Kind Regards

Hi isodope,

I presume you are trying to get create two different items of content depending on which language is selected. If so you need to add some other modules to do this. You can either use DSLocalizer you can then add two modules say repositories and hide one depending on the language you have selected.

Apollo also does some multilingual modules that can be used. Load them up and have a play i'm sure it will make sense then :-)
