Hello everyone!

I'am new there and working with DNN is new for me also. But it works great! :)

I have one problem and also a question.

Question: Is it pssoble to copy whole web page with sublinks and so on and burn it on CD? I tried some software and problem started when I wanted to copy sublinks. Example with TV website. (Green OK, Red BAD)

Category TV

-LCD (couple of products with DNN preloader, after preloader content is changing)

-CRT (couple of products with DNN preloader, after preloader content is changing)

Thank you, I hope I explained normaly. Sorry for my bad English :)

Unlikely, as DNN requires a back end database, esp if you are looking a product lists etc.

HI

I have built an application that does this in the past and still works for dnn4 if your site foloows these rules

Solpart menu ( doesnt work with the new menu becaue is doenst iject html but javascritp callbacks )

no postback links to subpages ( all links should be visibale as real html <a href links )

so if you use a ustom menu that outouts pure html and follows dnn linking than that should work as well

It takes some time on big sites and you need a dedicated computer so dont use a computer while working will take up all the resources. Since its a pure html parser. It takes a site and saves each link as html. Then it looks for other links goes there and saves these as html also then looks in allready saved html links  if same links excist and rewrites these as well. Uses a custom method for saving html css and javascript so that the sturture is kept intact and also images refereced in css are saved ( This is not the case when you doa s ave as html page in ienternet explorer )

So it also follows clickthrougs to otherpages ( I tried with forum module, ventrian aticles module etc. as long as the clicktrhough inks are in pure html and are not call or postbacks the link is followed
