I'm getting up to speed on DNN but haven't used iFrame before, so sorry if this is a dumb question.

Records in my UDT each contain a link to an external URL (each unique). From UDT search results, I want the user to be able to use the link to display the external page. No problem opening the linked URL in a new window, but I want to show it in an iFrame on the same page as the UDT module, and I don't want to re-load the page because then I will lose the search results. I understand passing query strings, but how do I target the iFrame for displaying the URL? And will I need a Javascript function to open the URL in the iFrame, or does the module do that automatically?

Thanks very much for the help.

-Michael

 At this time, there is no easy (non-programming) way of setting something like that up. May be UDT forum has some tips?

I hope you don't mind me asking you a question since I don't have an answer to yours.  I have a page that pulls info from a UDT and is being viewed through an iframe.  I want to be able to open the url it pulls into the top window or even another window  on click basically but cannot make this work..you say yours doesn't have any trouble can you tell me how you were able to do this? I am using the xsl generator  and this is what the code looks like:

<xsl:value-of select="udt:AttorneysProfile" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>

Thanks

Janine

 I believe this  (UDT) forum will be a more appropriate place for this discussion.
