Good afternoon,

   I too am having a problem with this random logging out.  I have discovered that a temporary work around is to register my admin users on the parent portal with the same permissions.  This will avoid the dreaded logout when my administrators are adding links or other info.  It appears that they don't actually have to login to the parent portal - just have equal permissions.  If this helps someone out until it gets resolved I'm happy.

Should we check for modules installed in the portal or the whole DNN installation? All assemblies should be in /bin directory? just want to narrow & speed up the checking

Using the IsDebug tool, the only one assembly of DNN that is not in debug mode is Survey module.  The rest of them, as well as some of 3rd party modules are in debug mode.  I've checked all the assemblies in bin directory.  I'm using DNN 4.0.2.  Hope it helps.

apart from the std modules we have active forums (isDebug build= release) & simple gallery from Scott McCulloch (isDebug build= debug)
