All,

I am using DNN 4.9 w/ AD integration for an Intranet.  I have the Event Module 04.00.02.

I hahve created a role called "marketingCalendar".  I have assigned 3 different users into that role.  They are authorized.  When they log in, I see the radio button for "Edit" is enabled up top.  When they go to the calendar, there is no option for them to do anything (no dropdown arrow is visible).  The ONLY time this is available is when I add them into the Adminiistrator Role.  This, obviously, is not a desirable solution.

Anyone have ANY ideas?

Thanks,

Mark Gordon

Check to make sure the "marketingCalendar" role also has EDIT rights for the calendar module's PAGE, not just on the calendar MODULE.  The PAGE rights supercede MODULE rights so, to edit a module, a user needs to be able to edit both the module and the page that houses the module.

(Personally I don't agree with this approach since it forces an admin to give a module editor more rights than is necessary for the intended goal of editing a particular module.)
