Hello,

I am trying to determine if the new manifest file for DNNv5.0, supports the "resourcefile" tag, that allowed files to be zipped in a package and then uncompressed at install time.

Is this still possible in the new schema?

TIA,

Andreas

Hello Andreas,

did you find the answer to that? We are trying the re-package our module for dnn 5.0, and the "resourcefile" tag would save us adding a lot of entries in the new .dnn file. I searched in some blogs with no luck.

Could you or anyone point me to the right direction? Or maybe that feature was removed from .dnn files in dnn 5.0?

Thank you,
Davide

Everything is possible, You just need to look around a bit...

 <component type="ResourceFile">

          <resourceFiles>

            <basePath>/DesktopModules/YourModuleNameGoesHere</basePath>

            <resourceFile>

              <name>TheNameOfTheCompressedFile.zip</name>

            </resourceFile>

          </resourceFiles>

        </component>
