Some people here is writing about ver. 02.01.09 - where can I download that version?

I can only find 02.01.00.

Do we have any idea of a timeframe for the next official release?
If it is far away - would it not be a good idea to release a maintenance/update version with all the many workarounds that has been posted here?
13-14 month since last version is a very very long time!

Please tell us what the new features are. This way we can test them better.

Do you have support for shared SSL? The credit card page uses SSL and the rest of the store pages doesn't use one?

Hi there,

I have downloaded and installed the 2.1.9 beta over the existing store module.  no problems with that process.  I have one product in a category that I am testing and on checkout I get the following error.  It worked fine with the original store loaded but now shows this error.

  A critical error has occurred.
This property cannot be set to an empty string. Parameter name: value

Minor bug: after having "Show Product Detail" in Catalog Settings unchecked, "More Info" link doesn't disappear and, when clicked, shows an empty page.

Hi,

I have already discused about that. The French site is used as a repository for BETA versions only, That's all. This is NOT a concurent place nor a different module, it's simply because DotNetNuke.com DO NOT allow to post BETA versions. This could be changed in the future, but it's NOT my responsability. Some other modules use a similar way for their project. If the Core Team choose to create an official repository for BETA versions, I will use it. I think that's REALLY important to have a place for current BETA. The Store module can have bugs like any other modules, but it's more critical for business! This is why you have access to the last current BETA. The Core Team can't validate every BETA, but at least you have an alternative choice. Previously, i had chosen to publish my email address in the forum and send the latest version on user's request, but it's highly time consuming. This is why we use the French site as a public repository.

This week, I work with ErikVB from the Core Team to validate some points before submit the last BETA version (02.01.10) to the release tracker. Please, be a little patient. We are nearly ready! :-)

Hi Salama,

I will blog about the new features in some days.

Starting with DotNetNuke 4.5.4 a new feature was added that would allow SSL support for specific pages. Because the Store module can be used with DotNetNuke 4.4.1 or above, you can find an SSL setting in the Store Account module for swap to https when checkout and payement occurs. If your dnn instance is 4.5.4 or above, use the core SLL setting instead. I do not know if shared SSL works, because I do not have access to this kind of config. But if your dnn instance is able to swap to SLL with a shared SLL certificate, then the Store module should works too.
