No, that is NOT at all what the code says.. Look up MustInherit on MSDN for a detailed explanation of what MustInherit means

basically it means that Blog is a base class, and the MustInherit attribute forces you to create a subclass if you want to extend it.  So, you ARE looking at the Blog class.

I get it now.

Thanks to all of you for your help. You guys have been really timely in your responses.

I really like the DotNetNuke Framework. I have been programming for a while but I am still learning how DotNetNuke does things and I am embarrased to say, I avoided the issue of class inheritance because I did not fully understand it.
