Well,

At thinkofdesign.com I don't use Solpart... The top tabs are static hand coded links I have put in the skin code and the left navigation is the HouseMenu from http://houseofnuke.com/

Two Solpart menus is the first thing that comes to mind for implementations like that but believe me there are much better solutions... to be honest I would never use Solpart this way and the reason is that it's not a light weight menu.

A good and not static (like mine) solution for what you are trying to do, is to use the simple links module or skin object for the top root menu and Solpart, or even better HouseMenu,  for the side navigation.

Cheers,

Vasilis

GREAT, thanks for that tip, i will try that one now.

The reason i don't want to hardcode it is that i need the client to be able to create new top level and child pages.

So, i will try the links module on the top level, and the solpart menu using level="child" for the side menu nav.

Hope it works.

THANKS
