Hi,

We want to use the membership information stored on a remote customer information database. The plan is, a user logs into the DNN site's interface. A custom authentication module in DNN calls the remote database and checks the log-in information returning role information.

We are running a dnn 4.5.5 site. The developer that is planning to help us has requested we upgrade the DNN site as in later versions there have been some changes to the authentication code in the core.

What version of DNN should we upgrade to and why?

We don't have any custom modules running on the site.

Thanks,

Ian

Upgrade to version 4.9.0 as it has a number of security fixes/bug fixes/etc in it.
