I've created a custom gallery application in classic ASP.  While I explore DNN based solutions, I want to employ my home grown ASP gallery in the interim.  My problem is I don't know how to reference the "dir\index.asp" web page from the facilities provided in DNN.  The IFrame module will not let me reference a classic ASP page nor will the Link module.  Simply put, an "asp" file type is not included in the available list of files that the modules will reference.  The only way I can get the gallery to run is to make an external reference to my existing nonDNN site.  This kind of defeats the purpose because I want to move away from my home grown site in favor of DNN.  Can someone give me some advice on how I can reference a "*.asp" page within DNN?  Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

John P. Coffey

both links and iframe will allow you to enter the URL, if you don't select "page" or "file", but the 3rd option (using fully qualified url).

Sebastian, thank you for your help.  I am having a lot of trouble referencing the local directory from DNN.  Using FTP, if my slideshow is located in the,

ftp://webXX.3essentials.com/httpdocs/Portals/0/slideshow/index.asp

how would I reference that via http in DotNetNuke?  While I know how to program, I am new to DNN and would really appreciate some guidance on how to make the reference.  Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

John P. Coffey
