Does anyone know how to add a DLL to a folder in the Bin (i.e. bin\myFolder - like the way the provider DLL do in DNN)?

I have tried specifying the path in file attribute of the .dnn install file, I have tried adding a Component/Assemble entry in the .dnn install file, and no love.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Best Regards,

I have not tryed but why not test the same as provider does.

But the problem maybee is to add the folder....

<component type="Assembly" installOrder="3">
          <assemblies>
            <assembly>
    <path>bin\Providers</path>
    <name>DotNetNuke.Authentication.CardSpace.dll</name>
              <version>01.00.00</version>
            </assembly>
          </assemblies>
        </component>

afaik thats only an option with the new package, so for modules you'd need dnn 5

(maybe Charles can chime in to confirm...)
