I am in the process of upgrading from 2.1.1 and the old portal we had links on the bottom of the page. They are gone in 4.9. Is there a way to bring them back?

The links are still supported in 4.9. These are provided by the skinobject "dnn:LINKS". If the LINKS object is included in your new skin then your rendered webpage will have the links inside of a SPAN with an ID of "dnn_dnnLINKS_lblLinks".

Are you using a different skin after your upgrade?

Yes

The skin was too old to use. I wanted to upgrade the link anyway.

I am using a skin from dnnskins.com called XDMediaBlue.

Is there a way to add it in?

Register the object:

<%

@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="LINKS" Src="~/Admin/Skins/Links.ascx" %>

Where you want the object:

<

dnn:Links runat="server" id="dnnLinks" separator=" | " Level="Root" />
