It is with great pleasure that we announce the 5.3 release of our Engage: Publish module, the ultimate CMS module for DotNetNuke, providing unmatched versioning and workflow capabilities within the DNN framework.

The 5.3 release of Engage: Publish provides a host of bug fixes and enhancements over the previously released 5.2.2 version of the module.

The major enhancements for the 5.3 release include better Metaweblog API support. This will provide the ability to publishing content to your DotNetNuke website through an easy desktop tool such as Windows Live Writer. This release provides support for Tagging (Keywords), Descriptions (Excerpts), Auto Discovery (RSD) and image upload capabilities through the Metaweblog API.

Another major enhancement for the 5.3 release of Engage: Publish is the inclusion of a new Text/HTML module definition, Engage: Text/HTML is a fully versioned and workflowed replacement for the core DNN Text/HTML module. You no longer have to worry about Text/HTML content on your website being lost due to the lack of versions and workflow support with the core DNN module, the Engage: Text/HTML allows you to easily drop a new module on the page and begin editing content for that page.

URL formatting within Engage: Publish has also changed for this release of the module, we now provide better URLs within the Publish modules that are directly built by your Friendly URL provider. This will provide websites utilizing Engage: Publish with better Search Engine Optimization and linking for content.

For a full list of bug fixes and enhancements for this 5.3.0 release visit our Release Notes page on the Publish Wiki

You can also see a full list of features for the Publish module located on our Features page in the Wiki.

These upgrades are available via www.engagemodules.com. We also offer discounted renewal rates to maintain your upgrade subscription beyond the initial year timeframe.
