Hi Geoffrey,

Thanks for your feedback.
I'll see if I can make some adjustments to address those issues.

The community edition is not hobbled at all.  The pro edition allows more precise control of the caching and replacements by portal and by page.

I have to admit that after being around the DotNetNuke project for over five years I have probably lost some of the perspective that you have reminded me of.

PageBlaster does do some complicated things, that might not always work in every environment, but those error descriptions in the documentation were added after recommendations from other customers. If you run into any problems with your testing let me know, but to give you a little comfort it may help to know that it is downloaded several times a day with very little feedback from anyone having any problems.

If you do have problems after installing, then removing it is as simple as commenting out a line in the web.config file.

I can contest to this. I am a Pro user over the Community edition. Several times while testing, I will comment out PageBlaster. Granted, it takes some tweaking on a site with several modules and pages, but huge benefits of the Pro version is replacements. I takes some work, but the added benefit of PB can make any DNN module XHTML compliant. That aside, PB community edition on a default install can speed up any DNN website with minimal to no intereference or changes.
