Hi,

As a new user I'm a bit discouraged that new features are being added - but then there appears to be no readily accessible information how to use those features? I located the change log and it talks about a TEXT skin module for localizing string constants on the screen, but no "how to".

Has anyone used the new TEXT skin module, or at least can point me to the right direction how/where I store the localized strings, what naming conventions I have to follow for the filename etc?

Thanks,

Andy

Andy,

check out default "Minimal Extrophy" skin, it contains a text SKO: "you are here"

this text is derived from a resource file (unfortunately, the built in language editor currently does not support skin resource files, but you might easily create it manually.

Besides, Text has the option to use TokenReplace (like core messages, Text/HTML and Newsletter use). you need to set "ReplaceTokens" property to "True".

Dear Sebastian,

thank you kindly - that sample will be helpful. I see where it has a *.RESX file - so I think I'll give that a shot.

Best Regards,
Andy
