Frankly, there's no reason you need to choose.  They can be used side by side if you find the need.

Everybody, thank you so much for your input.  I have spoken with many of the employees that would most likely be affected and have begun compiling a list of abilities that we would like to have.  I know I really need to start there to better find the solution.  I am sure I will be back with more questions.

Jeff,

I would be interested in hearing your experiences running them side by side.  Did the users find it difficult to grasp them as "two different systems" or were you able to do enough integration they seemed like one seamless application?
