 Hi

I notice that on SC there is an events module that looks like a development of the core module.
I am not about to change as I trust the DNN events module but this does have one feature that I really need - the ability for sub calendars to filter by category.

Will this ability be in the next release please?

At the moment I have a site with 6 "main" calendars holding different kinds of events with another holding a composite listing.
It would be better the other way around - one master feeding 6 sub calendars filtered by category (without any cat selector visible).

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Ian

BTW: How is work going with the next release?

Hi Ian,

There are many, many improvements in 4.1.0, but this capability will not be in the next release. Perhaps you would like to raise it as a feature request for a following release.

With regard the next release, we are woking through some bugs. However due to normal life commitments (e.g. work), we can't commit to when a beta release will be out. I am hoping that we can get some time on it over the holidays to get a releaseable version completed.

Hi Roger

Thanks for the information and your quick response.

The holidays - AKA "the catch up break" for me too.

Have a good one.

Ian

Any chance this feature has made it into the v5.0 Event Module? I don't see it listed in the Release Notes...

Thanks!

Hi Scott,

v5.0 has been a long time getting through to production. So it is still the version talked about in December, so it is not in this release.

Cheers
Roger
