Just installed 3.05.01 a few days ago.

The blog summary displays fine.   Now when the user clicks "Read more..."  they cannot read the rest of the blog.   The "Edit Blog Settings" option box "Make this blog public" is checked.

However, only the two blogs I created since I installed the update will not display.   The blogs I have before I installed the update seem to function OK.

Hi Stephen,

try enabling Friendly URLs from Host menu. I guess it is a 301 rediderct issue.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Tried that, Dario.  It didn't work.

Thanks anyway.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Stephen,

do you have any 3rd party URL rewriting/mastering module installed?

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Stephen,

I took a look to your website, and my understanding is:

  1. Now most of the entries show up correctly in the homepage;
  2. Not all the entries had their permalink updated;
  3. You have a page "Travelblog" that is not accessible without being registered, and in that page there's an instance of the blog module.

To make your blog entries accessible for everyone in the homepage, login as the blog owner, goto the module instance on the home page (tabID=36), enter Blog settings and regenerate all the permalinks. Remember that permalinks will alway map to the page where the instance is placed when you regenerate them, or when you add an entry.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
