First of all, I am new to DNN, so please bear with me if I ask very simple questions.

I installed the forum module and would like to change the theme or skin of the forum, but I couldn't find where to configure or upload new thems. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Jeffrey

Hi there,

You will need to take a copy of the 'default theme' folder found under the <your portal root folder>/desktopmodules/forum/themes/ and adjust the css file to your liking ... Then create a new folder at the same level as the default and copy in there all your skin files ... make sure that your main css file has exactly the same name as the folder.

If you did everything right then you should be able to select your theme from the drop down box in the forum administration part ...

bottom line ... there is no skin upload functionality as for the general site ... you need to manually copy the files in ...

Steven
