hi, when I try to disable English(en-US), I got this:

You cannot delete or disable the default language for the portal.

how to change the default language to English(Canada)?  Thanks in advance.

Navigate to Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings >Other Settings. Here you can set the Default Language

But the front end still show us in the list box, can I get rid of it?

If you front end showing the list box you mean the language drop down, this will show if your skin contains the [LANGUAGE] skin object and you have more than one language pack installed.  If you only have one language installed, this will not show.  The only way I know of to get rid of it if you do have more than one language is to remove it from the skin.
