Hello, I'm new to .net and .aspx so any help would be much appreciated (I've always used PHP and mySQL, but I want to learn something new).

I am in the process of installing dotnetnuke and when I get to the "Run Database Installations Scripts" I receive an error:

undefined...FAILURE 400 - Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool.  This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.

Of course the first thing I did was google the error, all I can turn up is folks saying there is a "connection leak" and telling me to modify my code.  Because this CMS is used by many others and I don't see any other postings, I am assuming it is not a coding problem and a setting issue on my server.

Any ideas?  Has anyone seen this before and know how to fix?

Thanks..

I assume, there are permissions missing for the database or the database file is write protected.

Good call.

It was a combination of a corrupt web.config file and 2 unchecked permissions.  I was able to fix the problem by deleting everything and starting over.
