Only under IE8 (currently using Beta 2, 8.0.6001), but not IE7 or Firefox 3.04, when I highlight text in the FCK Editor window in the normal way and click on the link icon, rather than linking the highlighted text, it throws link HTML code into the beginning of the text box and does not link the target text.  Something is obviously new and funky in IE8, but in order to continue to use FCK in editor mode I had to switch over to Firefox.  Thought you'd want to know.  I am using version 4.08.01 of the text editor in a DNN 4.09 environment.

Strange thing is that same thing was happening to me but for some reason today it is working for me on IE 8 Beta 2.  I am using Ie 8 build xxx.6001.18241. Hopefully Beta 3/ RC1 will fix these issues. I am also having issues with the menus working reliably with FCK on IE 8. Sometimes they do not populate the text fields. I then have to click over to a different tab, then back again to get them to work. You having that issue?

 I have some IE8b2 problems too.
FCK will not allow me to edit anything.  Switch IE to compatibilty mode and its fine.

I would stay many km's from IE8 but some of my users are using it - still IE8 is an improvement.
Have you noticed that Fiddler is built in now?
