I have just updated a test site to v. 5 RC2.  I thought that the admin modules would now behave like any other module. That is, the admin / host can place them on a page and configure other roles to use them.  I can see some of them on the module selection dropdown but not all.  Specifically the User Account module.

Am I incorrect in this thinking?  If not, has anyone been able to get this to work?

Thanks!

A lot of work has been done on the User Accounts module since RC2,  although I haven't tested the functionality myself.

I suggest wait for the next version, the only outstanding issue I see in Gemini right now in relation to this is:

 Hi Robert,

Add the "Security" module to your page.  It contains all the module controls you're looking for (you can remove the extraneous ones later).

This took me a bit to figure out, as well.

Robert,

please be aware, that you need to grant publish permission for this module definition to roles or users in Admin :: Extensions (enter edit mode for the module).

Thanks for the replies!  I got it to appear but have a couple of questions / observations.

Is there a way to limit the users a person sees?  (so they can't see super users and admins.)

Edit / add roles to a user not working.  (can't access and can't find where to allow access)

thanks again,

Robert
