Total DNN novice here, just installed it for the first time yesterday. When I navigate to the skins page on my site, there is no option to upload skins. The onloptions I get from the modeule menu are help, online help or print.  I am logged in as admin and have tried this on design and edit views and also in Firefox and  I have installedIE? I have downloaded and installed 4.0.01 Using the "Most Common install.

Any help as to what I have done wrong appreciated.

If you login with the admin account and only see these options, then skin upload permissions are set for host level instead of portal.  Permissions can be granted to admins by setting the permission on the Host Settings page, under Advanced Settings, Other Settings  (set from Host to Portal).

If you login under host, you can also perform the upload to the portal level under the admin / skins screen, or upload the skin to the  host level under the host / skin screen.    Uploading through the host / skins screen makes the skin available to any portals on your install.
