Please note that this post may well be out of place, my apologies if that is the case.

I am trying to pass user login information from a dotnetnuke site to a 3rd party portal to accomodate the user. The 3rd party site is actually configure to order web engine built on Microsoft architecture (SQL server). I'm hoping there exists an API that I could use to pass credentials and  perhaps a session id to complete the desired handshake. Any help or advice much, much appreciated. Thanks
