Strange issue - I've successfully installed DNN 5.0 on my development server, but after login, nothing on the top of the defailt page works; menus, links etc.

This includes logout, Control Panel expansion...

I've rebuilt it, made sure everything is unblocked, etc. The links on the bottom of the page, like Community, marketplace and the ads all work.

It's got me stumped.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron, I have exactly the same issue here. I setup two seperate environments yesterday, one - DNN 4.9.1 and then DNN 5.0.0 The 4.9.1 works perfectly and we'll be testing modules in that shortly. The 5.0.0 environment does not work. No intallation errors, no errors running the site etc etc BUT, once logged in, the menus, logout, control panel etc don't work. Not had a chance to investigate further but I thought I'd add my two cents worth to add weight to this thread. Any ideas on this, anyone?

please note, that DNN5 requires AJAx to be installed.

Some more information: If there are no modules on the page - i.e. the page is very short, the links work. Anything longer and the links stop working about halfway down the page. The site all appears to work fine in Firefox, just IE 7 shows the problem. It is like the top half of the page is all background with nothing clickable on it.

BTW, AJAX is installed and works...

are you using default skin or a custom one? Do you experience the same behaviour in any edit mode?
