@michel,

does this help:

B. Manage skin pages
Due to the changes mentioned before the location and the functionality of the skin management pages has changed too.

Skin management for Admins
The previous Admin > Skins page moved.
Select Admin > Extensions and Click "Manage Skins" at the bottom of the page
Manage skins will show both DNN 5 and legacy skins.

I wanted to make the same point.  There doesn't seem to be a way to prevent customer A using customer B's skin if they're on the same portal.  An unlikely scenario, but no possible and very undesirable.

Andy.

To be honest I missed this at first too, but you can still install portal skins.

Login as host and use: Admin > Extensions > Install Extension Wizard

That will install the skin in the portal folder.

"Login as host and use: Admin > Extensions > Install Extension Wizard

Is that the reason there is an extensions tab under the admin menu?  If so, is it the only reason?

John,

No the admin can also set the deploy rights for modules there, change settings for the authentication providers, edit language packs etc.

Perfect.  It even makes sense once you get your head into the skins being extensions!

Thanks.

Andy.
