Not seeing host nor admin drop down menu items with my DNN5 install, on local machine, running Vista Ultimate, SQL 2005 Express and IE8 (beta).

Enabling the Emulate IE7 mode, in IE8 (beta), solved this issue for me.

My sincere thanks to the entire DNN team for the latest release. Soon I hope to update my sites at WH4L.

are you using standard Skin or a custom one? which menu is used?

Standard, default skin that came with the DNN5 install package.

Sebastian IE8 and standard menu standard skin does not work so good.

Similar error that have been reported for IE6.

I just tested the module on my Win XP using IE 8 RC, and got menu displayed properly in IE8 browser mode / IE8 doc mode.

The menu looks strange, when I switch back to Quirks mode (not astonishing) but is recognized correctly as IE8 mode.
