I would like to deploy DNN 5.0 to some users in my organization. Are there any serious issues with DNN 5.0 I should be aware of?

I'm concerned there are not many wow or ugh posts...

My guess is people are just playing around and haven't actually tried upgrades/installs with many modules, etc...

I had bad upgrade experiences.

If it is a new install...   why not try it.    If an upgrade, wait.

currently, DNN 4.9.1 is the most stable and secure build, while DNN 5 has a couple of new features. I suggest to read about in forums and blogs and decide, what will suit your needs best.

That's understandable. 4.9 has been out for a lot longer time and it's put to use in many production servers. However I need specifics.

I tried to use Gemini and filter for 5.0 only but it seems there's no way.

I want to be aware of what serious defects are in place so I am aware of them and maybe I can fix them before deployment.

DNN 5 is looking fine on a new site I did.  Also runs good on test servers.  I would not upgrade to it as there seems to be a couple glitches with upgrades.  If its a new site I would go with 5.0.
