My DNN.. which is automatically installed on network solutions servers. has been installed on the URL 02b72e3.netsolhost.com/nuke.

with network solution's domain/directory pointer system. I successfully pointed my domain name kampeonngpagibig.com to the /nuke folder.

but whenever i place my domain name on a browser, it always default its url to 02b72e3.netsolhost.com/nuke. any other button would have the domain 02b72e3.netsolhost.com/nuke.

what i wanted is for its url to appear as my domain name kampeonngpagibig.com (on the address bar).

http alias would not do the trick..

please help..

did you setup a portal alias in your portal settings?  You need to put the domain in there.

And you need to remove the temporary 02b72e3.netsolhost.com/nuke portal alias as well.

Because NetSol installed this in a subdirectory you have to have two aliases to get this to work.

www.kampeonngpagibig.com
www.kampeonngpagibig.com/nuke

Then you should be able to remove the 02b72e3.netsolhost.com/nuke portal alias as JK recommended.

One last thing that's worth doing is to update the DNN web.config HostHeader section with “foldername/”
(for example, <add key="HostHeader" value="nue/" />). This will help hide the folder name.

I hope this helps.
