Hi Guys Happy New Year!

Thanks you for the good work! However, is this blog module compatible with DNN 5.0.0? I have installed on DNN 5.0.0 successful, but when I try to create a blog I get this error below on one of the section:

View_Blog
An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.NavigationControl.SolpartMenuNavigationProvider.Bind(DNNNodeCollection objNodes) at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions.BindMenu(DNNNodeCollection objNodes) at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions.Page_PreRender(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

It works fine on other blog sections apart from "view_blog" section. Any suggestion how to fix this?

Hi Abu,

What version of the Blog module did you install ?

I am trying the latest 3.5.1 and having a problem posting an entry, but this is different than your problem.

We want to try and fix all the issues :)

Hi Jim,

is same latest blog 03.05.01, also an error appeared only on "view_blog" section. I can't also edit, move, ... the section.

Abu,

 

The latest version of the blog is working on a fresh install of DNN 5 that I just did.

I am having a problem using the update button on creating a post, the focus is switched to the FCK editor for the summary...Very Strange.

Can you try another clean install of the latest builds ? I downloaded the latest blog package and installed it after the DNN 5 install.

Did you select the blog module as part of the DNN 5 install wizard ? I did not check that yet.

I am getting the same error after upgrading to DNN 5.0 and installed blog module 3.5.1. It has blocked me now from changing blogs settings. Any body who has resloved this issue, is well appreciated.
